Beginning

I've used this blog in the past for various reasons, but I've decided to begin a "Road to the Diaconate" journal. This will be my journal. Here I will discuss with whomever decides to watch me what life is like for someone who feels this mysterious "call" to the "permanent Diaconate" within the Roman Catholic Church.

If you stumble across me...know that September 2008 I have begun my formal studies through the Diocese of Tulsa, OK, but I am a Deacon Aspirant for the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, MO. I'll explain later why I have to travel 3 hours away once a month for my Formation.
